Christopher's "Flying Man" wire sculpture was selected for the 2009 summer exhibition at the Middleton Cross Plains Area School District office!

Christopher wins Thespian Award ~ May 09

Winning "Best Special Costume" for his design and production of crowns for the Middleton High School dramatic production of "MacBeth" in January 2009

We have no shots of the actual awards ceremony, but here is te award and Christoper at home.

Christopher was a finalist in the Young Playwrighters Forum 2009. Some of the finalists' plays were performed at the Forum in Madison's downtown art center. Some were performed at the Middleton Performing Arts Center. Christopher also was part of the dramatic readings of other finalists' work.

Christopher posed in front of the actors and crowns of MacBeth (Upper Left). He was part of the Madrigal Dinner in December 2008 (other 3 frames)

Christopher played three roles in Middleton DRama Club's production of "Three Muskateers" in the fall 2008.

He was also cast as "Mr. Brown" in the spring musical "Anything Goes" (2009)

Memorial Collage

A eulogy version of EPILOGUE was delivered April 26, 2009 at the public memorial held at the Art Council of the Brazos Valley, College Station, Texas.

In the center of the collage, "Transfigured Tomb" original pastel by John-Brian Paprock. Starting on the upper left counter-clockwise: Kenneth Paprock painting in the upper left. Below that on the left, a picture when he was in England, then the table of his awards at the memorial.

Bottom left: the exit at his favorite eatery: The Kettle in College Station, Texas. Lower right: his self portrait. Above that on the right: the rainbow that appeared the day after the memorial above his house in College Station. Above that: more than capacity turned out for his memorial. His daughter Sarah is speaking at the podium.

Then, the upper right corner: the pannihida table (memorial table for religious prayers, on the left is a bowl of koliva or kuchiya - a traditional memorial sweet dish of boiled grain, honey and raisins). During the pannihida, all five of his adult children were present. It seems that four of five had been present on many ocassions over the years, but all five with him was rare.

MAGAZINE WINS PUBLISHING AWARD
From Wisconsin State Journal, Tue Mar 14 2006

Dane County Kids received a General Excellence award in the Parenting
Publications of America awards competition, it was announced earlier this
month at the organization's annual conference in Philadelphia. The Madison
parenting magazine, which was bought by Capital Newspapers in 2004, received
a silver general-excellence award in the most-improved category for
publications with a circulation of 30,001 to 54,999.

With direction from editor Teresa Peneguy Paprock, publications director
Matt Meyers and sales and marketing manager Marjorie Stieve, the publication
was redesigned in 2005 with a new logo, cover design and format. Judges
called the design "greatly improved from 2004."

Dane County Kids was founded in 1992 and has a free distribution of 35,000
copies at about 300 distribution sites.

Christopher is working Eagle rank in scouts. This was taken before Court of Honor in 2005. He is now Senior Patrol Leader and Life Scout rank, and has a few more merit badges. He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow.
